Join Rabbis Deborah Silver and Josh Pernick for a four-part follow-up to their Intro to Judaism course. These four classes are part of our new Introduction to Judaism course. If you have previously done an Introduction course, or if you just think the classes look interesting, please join us! All classes are held on Sunday mornings at 10.30 and last up to an hour and a half. Class 1: February 7th Shabbat 2.0 How do we make a meaningful Shabbat a consistent part of our lives and practice? This class will cover both Shabbat restrictions and Shabbat enhancers. Class 2: February 21st Your Kosher Home How do we make our homes kosher? What are the steps we can take to ensure they stay that way? What happens if something goes wrong? Class 3: March 7th Navigating the Siddur We will take a close look at the landscape of the Shabbat morning service. How do we find our way around? Is there a pattern? How does the Shabbat morning service differ from the others? Class 4: March 21st Kashering for Passover Ah, Pesach cleaning! What’s the best way to make sure our homes are kosher for Passover? Is it as complicated as it sounds? Are there any short cuts?
